The Chesham Conservatives branch is fighting for at least 10 speed indicator signs to make drivers aware of their speed.
Research has shown drivers are likelier to slow down when the red unhappy face broadcasts for all to see.
This branch supported the approval of a resident-funded play area in Ashley Green, but we want to see the Council provide similar play areas across Chesham.
The Chesham Conservatives branch wants the Town Council to speed up the plans to invest in improvements of Lowndes Park and Nashleigh Hill play areas.
Members of Chesham Conservatives helped organise the 2022 Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Chesham. We want the Town Council to help make Community Board funding easier to apply for so a greater variety of events can bring us to our parks and town centre more often.
The Chesham Conservative Branch also want to see a return of Volunteers Day with a wider scope. We want to see more clubs and societies people can be a member of, not just volunteer with be represented. For example, the Scouts, singing, acting and boxing.
